SUN YAT-SEN'S HIGH-HANDEDNESS

CANTON, Saturday.

The representatives of foreign Powers inter- ested in the Salt Gabelic are protesting against Sun Yat-Sen taking over the supervision of the Salt Inspectorata at Canton and appointing his own nominee to replace the foreign district inspector, Mr. W. N. Fergusson.

Mr. Fergusson refuses to transfer his seal of office, in which action he is receiving the support of the British Consul-General at Canton, Mr. J. W. Jamieson, the doyen of the Consular Corps.--Reuter.
